for injection

Paclitaxel interferes with the cancer cell's ability to reproduce. Paclitaxel is an intravenous (IV) medication. The type and extent of a cancer determines the exact dose and schedule of administering this medication. Paclitaxel slows or stops the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. It is commonly used to treat breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, testicular cancer, Kaposi's sarcoma, bladder cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer.

AEPRIN®

(Epoetin alfa)
Solution for intravenous and subcutaneous administration

Epoetin alfa is a synthetic form of erythropoietin. It stimulates erythropoiesis (increases red blood cell levels) and is used to treat anemia, commonly associated with chronic renal failure and cancer chemotherapy.

ALOSTIN

(Calcitonin)
nasal spray

Calcitonin is a hormone that is used to decrease bone destruction caused by cancer that has spread (metastatic cancer). It also has some direct pain-relieving actions. It is given as a shot or as a nasal spray. Calcitonin helps decrease bone pain caused by metastatic cancer.

ANASTERA

(Anastrozole)
tablets

Anastrozole interfere with how much estrogen the body's tissues can make. This limits the amount of estrogen available in the body. Anastrozole is used to treat early estrogen receptor-positive (ER+)breast cancer. It is also used to treat metastatic or recurrent ER+ breast cancer. Anastrozole can be used alone or after tamoxifen treatment.

ARGEFERR®

(Iron Sucrose)
Solution for I.V. administration

Iron sucrose is a form of the mineral iron. Iron is important for many functions in the body, especially for the transport of oxygen in the blood. Iron sucrose injection is used to treat iron deficiency anemia in people with kidney disease. It is usually given with another medication to promote the growth of red blood cells.

BICALUTERA

(Bicalutamide)
tablets

Bicalutamide is used with another medication (luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone [LHRH]; such as leuprolide or goserelin) to treat metastatic prostate cancer (cancer that started in the prostate and has spread to other parts of the body). Bicalutamide is in a class of medications called nonsteroidal antiandrogens. It works by blocking the effect of androgen (a male hormone), to stop the growth and spread of cancer cells.

CAMPTERA

(Irinotecan)
for injection

Irinotecan is an antitumour drug that interferes with how cancer cells multiply. The dose is based on your body size. The type and extent of a cancer determines the exact dose and schedule for using this drug. Irinotecan is used to treat cancer of the cervix, colon, or rectum. It may also be used to treat non-small cell lung cancer.

CARBOTERA

(Carboplatin)
lyophilizate for infusion

Carboplatin is a chemotherapy drug used against some forms of cancer (mainly ovarian carcinoma, lung, head and neck cancers). It was introduced in the late 1980s and has since gained popularity in clinical treatment due to its vastly reduced side-effects compared to its parent compound cisplatin. Cisplatin and carboplatin, as well as oxaliplatin, interact with DNA, akin to the mechanism of alkylating agents.

DOCETERA

(Docetaxel)
for injection

Docetaxel is an intravenous (IV) medicine that is usually given in a dose based on body surface area. The type and extent of a cancer determines the exact dose and schedule for giving this drug. Docetaxel damages structures involved in cell division, which stops the growth of cancer cells.

DOMEGAN

(Ondansetron)
for injection

The hydrochloride salt of the racemic form of ondansetron, a carbazole derivative and a selective, competitive serotonin 5-hydroxytrptamine type 3 (5-HT3) receptor antagonist with antiemetic activity.

FLUTOTERA

(Fludarabine)
tablets

Fludarabine is used to treat Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). It is usually used if a previous treatment has not worked, or has stopped working.

GEMCITERA

(Gemcitabine)
for infusion

Gemcitabine is a chemotherapy drug that is given as a treatment for some types of cancer. Gemcitabine is used in various carcinomas: non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer and breast cancer. It is being investigated for use in oesophageal cancer, and is used experimentally in lymphomas and various other tumor types. Gemcitabine represents an advance in pancreatic cancer care. It is also not as debilitating as other forms of chemotherapy.

GENFASTAT

(Octreotide)
for injection

Octreotide used as an injectable depot formulation for the treatment of acromegaly, the treatment of diarrhea and flushing episodes associated with carcinoid syndrome, and treatment of diarrhea in patients with vasoactive intestinal peptide-secreting tumors (VIPomas).

GENFATINIB

(Imatinib)
tablets

Imatinib is used to treat certain types of leukemia (cancer that begins in the white blood cells) and other cancers of the blood cells.

GENFAXON®

(Interferon beta-1a)
solution for s.c. administration

Interferon beta-1a is a drug in the interferon family used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS). It is produced by mammalian cells while Interferon beta-1b is produced in modified E. coli. Interferons have been shown to have about a 18-38% reduction in the rate of MS relapses, and to slow the progression of disability in MS patients. None of the products on the market is a cure, but patients today who start early on Interferons may beneficially alter the natural course of the disease.

KamRHO

(Rho (D) Immune Globulin)
for injection

Rho(D) Immune Globulin is a medicine given by intramuscular injection that is used to prevent the immunological condition known as Rhesus disease (or hemolytic disease of newborn). The medicine is a solution of IgG anti-D (anti-RhD) antibodies that bind to, and lead to the destruction of, fetal Rh D positive red blood cells that have passed from the fetal circulation to the maternal circulation. Therefore, in a Rhesus negative mother it can prevent sensitization of the maternal immune system to Rh D antigens, which can cause rhesus disease in the current or in subsequent pregnancies. With the widespread use of Rho(D) Immune Globulin, Rh disease of the fetus and newborn has almost disappeared.

LETROTERA

(Letrozol)
tablets

Letrozol typically used to treat specific types of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. The early breast cancer that is hormone receptor-positive and advanced breast cancer that is either hormone receptor-positive or for which the hormone receptor is unknown can be treated.

OXATERA

(Oxaliplatin)
for injection

Oxaliplatin is used with other medications to treat advanced colon or rectal cancer (cancer that begins in the large intestine). Oxaliplatin is also used with other medications to prevent colon cancer from spreading in people who have had surgery to remove the tumor. Oxaliplatin is in a class of medications called platinum-containing antineoplastic agents. It works by killing cancer cells.

POMEGARA

(Pamidronate Disodium)
for injection

Pamidronate is used to treat high levels of calcium in the blood that may be caused by certain types of cancer. Pamidronate is also used along with cancer chemotherapy to treat bone damage caused by multiple myeloma (cancer that begins in the plasma cells) or by cancer that began in another part of the body but has spread to the bones. Pamidronate helps prevent bone breakdown and bone fractures.

(RESPIKAM)
Alpha-1 Proteinase Inhibitor (Human) solution for infusion 20mg/ml (1000mg/50ml)

Alpha-1 Antitrypsin or a1-antitrypsin (A1AT) is a protease inhibitor belonging to the serpin superfamily. It is generally known as serum trypsin inhibitor. Alpha 1-antitrypsin is also referred to as alpha-1 proteinase inhibitor (A1PI) because it inhibits a wide variety of proteases.[1] It protects tissues from enzymes of inflammatory cells, especially neutrophil elastase, and has a reference range in blood of 1.5 - 3.5 gram/liter (in US the reference range is generally expressed as mg/dL or micromoles), but the concentration can rise manyfold upon acute inflammation.[2] In its absence, neutrophil elastase is free to break down elastin, which contributes to the elasticity of the lungs, resulting in respiratory complications such asemphysema, or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) in adults and cirrhosis in adults or children.

TOBRAMYCIN-GOBBI

(Tobramycin)
Solution for inhalation 300mg/5ml

Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It can be used to treat various types of bacterial infections, particularly Gram-negative infections. The nebulised formulation (300mg/5ml) is indicated for the treatment and prevention of chronic lung infection with Pseudomonas aeruginosa in patients diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. This formulation is also useful in the treatment of bronchiectasis colonized by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In both cases it should be administered using a dedicated nebulizer performing two nebulizations a day, every day; one in the morning and the second in the evening. Depending on the patient's condition, the product can be used continuously or on a scheme consisting in one month of continuous treatment followed by a month of resting and so on until medical evaluation.

TUTABIN®

(Capecitabine)
Film coated tablets 500mg

Capecitabine is an orally-administered chemotherapeutic agent used in the treatment of metastatic breast and colorectal cancers. Capecitabine is aprodrug, that is enzymatically converted to 5-fluorouracil in the tumor, where it inhibits DNA synthesis and slows growth of tumor tissue. The activation of capecitabine follows a pathway with three enzymatic steps and two intermediary metabolites, 5'-deoxy-5-fluorocytidine (5'-DFCR) and 5'-deoxy-5-fluorouridine (5'-DFUR), to form 5-fluorouracil.

VINCATERA

(Vinorelbine)
for injection

Vinorelbine is in a class of drugs known as vinca alkaloids; it slows or stops the growth of cancer cells. The length of treatment depends on the types of drugs, how well the body responds to them, and the type of cancer. Vinorelbine also is used to treat other cancers such as breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and Hodgkin's disease.
